acbTaskMan was written for the .Net Compact Framework version 1.0.  You may be running with only the Compact Framework version 2.  Even though the Compact Framework is supposed to be backward compatible, there are  some occassional problems with the newer framework.  If you do not have the latest service pack (SP3) for the Compact Framework, please download it from Microsoft.
